The RTD: Road to Digitalization project of BSG Srl, financed with European funds from the Emilia-Romagna Region, represents a crucial step in the company's growth and innovation path in the sustainable food distribution sector. The primary objective is to optimize distribution processes to ensure timely, efficient and real-time traceable deliveries, thus increasing flexibility and competitiveness in the national and European markets.

In response to the growing market demands for precision and flexibility, BSG has undertaken a significant corporate renewal process. This project fits into this context, aiming to maximize the effectiveness and efficiency of business processes through the adoption of cutting-edge technologies compliant with the Industry 4.0 paradigm.

The strategic objectives of the project include:

• Consolidate the leadership position in Italy and conquer new market shares in Europe through the optimization of distribution processes.

• Improve efficiency and productivity by introducing Industry 4.0 technologies, enabling more precise control and optimal management of resources.

• Promote environmental sustainability by adopting eco-friendly solutions throughout the entire supply chain.

• Promote a stimulating work environment, encouraging agile working and collaboration among employees.

Through these initiatives, BSG aims to redefine its modus operandi, emerging as a point of reference in the sector for operational efficiency, sustainability and technological innovation. The project envisages total investments of €151,666.20, financed by an expected regional contribution of €56,661.07.
